Separate factual accuracy, instruction following, helpfulness, and safety. Explain which passage changes your decision and what evidence would resolve uncertainty.
Use a repeatable practice session
Choose a small set of scenarios and reuse the same rubric across them.
- State the user's intent and constraints.
- Identify supported claims, unsupported claims, and contradictions.
- Rate each response, preserve ties, and explain the difference.
- Review disagreements and revise the rubric before the next session.
Answer honestly about tool use
Explain where an assistant helped and which judgments were yours. Bring a de-identified example you can discuss without sharing confidential employer or candidate information.
Ask about the actual work
Ask how guidelines are taught, how disagreements are adjudicated, what quality checks exist, and what tools or data you may use. A practice score is not employer approval or certification.
