Verification Standards

What verification means
A verification label should identify the checks performed on a listing or source. It does not certify an employer?s conduct, guarantee payment, or indicate that Thrive represents the employer. A brand logo alone is not evidence of a partnership.
Source checks
Reviewers should compare the listing with an employer careers page or another attributable source, check destination links, and review the role description, eligibility, location, and compensation context. Listings without sufficient evidence should not receive a verification label.
Compensation and availability
Compensation can depend on geography, project availability, experience, contract terms, and hours worked. Published figures should retain their source and context. Recheck availability with the employer; expired listings can remain visible until reviewed.
Safety and corrections
Be cautious of requests for upfront fees, passwords, one-time codes, or financial transfers. Report suspicious or inaccurate listings through Report a Listing. A report triggers review; it does not establish misconduct or guarantee removal.
