Electronics Engineer

Role Title: Electronics Engineer Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Electronics Engineers to contribute their expertise to a customer's innovative project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Review and annotate robotic system videos, providing accurate and insightful feedback based on electrical and electronic system observations. • Analyze and interpret complex electrical schematics and system diagrams as they pertain to robotic systems. • Identify, document, and explain electrical or electronic events, anomalies, or system functions visible in video materials. • Draft clear, concise written annotations and explanatory notes for machine learning specialists and fellow engineering experts. • Contribute to the refinement of guidelines for video annotation, ensuring accuracy and consistency. • Collaborate asynchronously with technical teams to clarify requirements and share insights on electronic systems in robotics. Preferred Qualifications • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. • Substantial expertise in electrical system design, analysis, and troubleshooting. • Proven experience with robotics, automation systems, or mechatronic systems. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. • Proficiency interpreting electrical schematics and documenting technical observations. • Experience annotating or analyzing technical multimedia (video, images) is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a remote, collaborative environment.
