Bloomberg Specialist

Role Title: Bloomberg Specialist Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging experienced Bloomberg Specialists and finance professionals to support a customer project focused on completing and documenting real-world workflows within the Bloomberg platform. In this role, you’ll use your hands-on Bloomberg experience and financial markets knowledge to complete realistic tasks and contribute high-quality data that supports the development of next-generation AI systems. Scope of Work • Complete realistic financial workflows using Bloomberg Terminal and related Bloomberg tools. • Navigate Bloomberg to research companies, securities, markets, and financial data. • Use Bloomberg features for common tasks such as market research, security analysis, financial analysis, and portfolio analysis. • Review and interpret financial and market data available through Bloomberg. • Demonstrate and clearly explain the steps used to complete Bloomberg workflows. • Identify inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent financial information. • Create realistic examples and scenarios based on professional financial workflows. • Document processes and provide clear written feedback according to project guidelines. • Complete assigned tasks independently and collaborate asynchronously with the project team. Preferred Qualifications • Strong hands-on experience using Bloomberg Terminal in a professional or academic finance environment. • Background in finance, investment management, banking, financial markets, equity research, asset management, or a related field. • Experience researching and analyzing equities, fixed income, securities, market data, or portfolios. • Ability to independently navigate Bloomberg and use its common functions and workflows. • Strong understanding of financial markets and financial terminology. • Ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearly. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project instructions.
